Alex Ji

Alex Ji is an internationally recognized painter known for his poetic interpretation of landscapes. With a Master’s degree from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, Alex blends Eastern sensitivities and Western artistic traditions into vivid, contemplative artworks that resonate deeply with viewers.
Since relocating to Canada in 2022, Alex established his studio in Richmond, BC, quickly becoming a vital part of the local art community. His solo exhibition in West Vancouver showcased his evocative landscape paintings, reflecting serene and introspective visions of nature.
Alex’s artistic journey includes notable achievements such as participating in the 2023 International Representative Works Exhibition and publishing an acclaimed art book titled “Hello, San Francisco.” His earlier works have won awards at the Canadian International Exhibition of Small Works and the U.S. Seascape Online Competition, further solidifying his international reputation.
Today, Alex Ji continues to inspire audiences through his expressive brushwork and contemplative narratives, capturing nature’s quiet beauty and emotional depth.
